Chief Executive Officer Chantal Dugied
Chantal lives in Lakeview, Oregon and serves as CSI’s CEO, bringing with her a passion for working with nonprofits.
She was President, License Holder / Responsible Managing Employee and Owner of Dugied Construction, Inc., a licensed General Contracting Corporation headquartered on the Island of Maui. After retiring from contracting, Chantal worked within the County of Maui Housing Administration Division as the HOME Investment and National Housing Trust Fund Grant Specialist managing the full cycle of housing grants.
She has 30 years of experience working on all sides of grants: from program funding and design, to application processing and review, to project execution and compliance reporting. Concurrent with her grant experience is 23 years of experience as a construction manager, developing a variety of projects funded through federal, state, and county grants.
Chantal also had the opportunity to explore multi-family asset management and community programming under a non-profit developer which included 456 multi-family units and 84 single family Rent-With-Option-To-Purchase units at 9 projects across 3 islands incorporating layered grant compliance reporting elements. Chantal has spent her career building an understanding of grant programs to help bring a benefit to the people she serves.
Board President Mark Smith
Mark is a seasoned leader, teacher, and mentor.
He served as the Chief Executive Officer and National Commander of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), the U.S. Air Force’s auxiliary, where he led 155 employees and 67,000 adult and youth volunteers with an annual budget of over $60M and assets valued at over $167M. He was honored by CAP in having an annual award for innovation named after him.
Over the course of his career, Mark has designed, created, and led cutting edge organizations and programs for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, for-profit companies, and nonprofit organizations.
Board Secretary and Treasurer Lori Reeve
Lori has a propensity for helping clients understand complicated forms and programs… one step at a time.
She is a Hawaii licensed real estate agent with COMPASS Hawai’i with a dynamic and growing brokerage practice, and Maui has been Lori’s home since 1981. Executing COMPASS Hawaii’s commitment to excellence, she continuously educates clients on market trends, financial considerations, and investment opportunities. She has also been actively licensed in the financial services industry since 2001, with Securities 6, 63 & 26 licenses since 2003.
Lori is associated with Primerica Financial Services and is a Past-President of Maui’s BNI Upcountry Chapter. She has a knack for developing comprehensive solutions tailored to clients’ specific needs and goals, all with a focus on helping families build personal and generational wealth.
Board Member Jeff Colerick, Esq.
Jeff is a licensed attorney in the state of Colorado with an active real estate and corporate practice, recently Of Counsel to the firm Goodspeed Merrill and now residing on the island of Maui.
He has over thirty years of experience with a practice built upon a deep understanding of real estate assets and corporate activities.
Jeff represents clients with commercial and residential transactions, land acquisition and development, leasing activities, real estate investments, and financing and security interests. He has decades of experience serving on nonprofit boards including the Better Business Bureau and the Boys and Girls Club.
